While it’s not Netflix, Disney+ has a lot working for it due to its extensive library of content and intellectual property. We are talking about the conglomerate media house that owns rights to Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar heroes, as well as a slate of princesses and other characters — as well as National Geographic.

And unsurprisingly, it is one of the most successful streaming services out there that won’t stop expanding. We’ve already heard they are preparing to enter 42 additional countries and now, they’re spilling the beans…

Disney+ will launch in South Africa as soon as May 18, with other countries and regions getting the service in June.

The countries that will get Disney+ include: Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Egypt, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Oman, Palestine, Poland, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Vatican City and Yemen.

Plus, there are 11 territories, such as Denmark’s Faroe Islands, French Polynesia, French Southern Territories, St. Pierre and Miquelon Overseas Collective, Finland’s Ă…land Islands, Sint Maarten, Norway’s Svalbard & Jan Mayen, British Indian Ocean Territory, Gibraltar, Pitcairn Islands and St Helena.

Like that’s the case with countries that already got Disney+, users in these upcoming markets will also have access to up to four concurrent streams, unlimited downloads on up to ten devices, along with the ability to set up seven different profiles (Kids Profile included). Furthermore, support for IMAX Enhanced will be available in a few select titles.

Disney+ is on a roll with the idea to get some subscribers from Netflix, which on its end wants to curb password sharing in some places. It’s more affordable than Netflix and (again) has a huge library of content.

Some users will opt for both services and some others will want to settle with one. Which group are you in? And are you using a VPN to access streaming services? Do let us know in the comments form below.
