Nord Security, which is the parent company of NordVPN, and Surfshark are joining forces to “strengthen their industry positioning.”
The two companies finalized a merger agreement, which will reveal “technical knowledge-sharing opportunities” and enable “more focused market diversification.” However, Nord Security and Surfshark will continue to operate autonomously, relying on separate infrastructures and product roadmaps.
The merger explained

The merger process between Nord Security and Surfshark started in mid-2021 and this now is the closing of the signed agreement.
